I rarely use Portuguese dictionaries, but these are some good options.

Dicionário Portugués (more like an encyclopedia)

Michaelis

Bilingual

Multilingual Dictionaries with Context – Basic

Those dictionaries that also offer some sentences to see the words in context.

Bab.la

PONS

Seadict (saved me when I could not find the word in other dictionaries)

Multilingual Dictionaries – Basic

Simple dictionaries where you type in the word and see translation options.

Wordreference (a classic among translators, but pretty basic. You can ask questions about language use and definitions in the forum, which can be very useful).

Dictionarist Online Talking Dictionary

KamusiGold The Global Online Living Dictionary

Multilingual Dictionaries – Terminology

For terms and field-related words and sentences

Proz.com Term Search (essential technical term translation tool. This tab is always open)

IATE – EU multilingual terminology database (I used it a lot in the past)

Linguee (I use this A LOT because it´s one of the only term bases you can add an entire phrase. All the results are based on context, without definitions. Some are not very reliable.
